How is the ultrasound monitor used?
Brief introduction to how the ultrasound monitor is used to listen to your baby’s heartbeat .
- Insert the batteries provided.
- Turn on the main unit using the button in the middle. Test it on your own heart first to make sure it works properly. Make sure to use plenty of ultrasound gel!
- Once the ultrasound monitor is working properly, you can sit back and apply more ultrasound gel to the surface of the probe.
- Then the probe is moved towards the stomach, and moved very, very quietly and slowly until you can hear the baby’s heartbeat. For the best sound experience, it is recommended to use headphones.
- Listen and enjoy the baby’s heartbeat.

How does an ultrasound monitor work?
The feature is based on Doppler technology and uses sound waves to detect the movement of your baby’s heart. The sound detected by the ultrasound monitor can be heard on the speaker and headphones as your baby’s heartbeat. This ultrasound monitor is not a diagnostic device and you should contact your doctor if you have any questions.
When can you use the monitor?
The ultrasound monitor can be used from the 12th week of pregnancy onwards. You can use the ultrasound monitor at any time of the day.
How often can you use the monitor?
Once you have located the heartbeat, you can use the monitor for a maximum of 10 minutes per day.
